Wait for the soon coming release of http://bing.com/visualsearch. I saw this technology demoed at TC50 very recently and it brings serious value to the search engine market.

Was the thumbnail service the firefox add-on Google Preview? GP is the best tool on the market, and I have found it to only aid judgment so I recommend giving it a shot. Thumbnails can bring alot to the Search market scene and I think we will see them taking a larger role as bandwidth costs decline.

I'm not so sure that thumbnails bring much to the market. I have used them in the past and they can cloud judgement, I would rather have longer and more accurate descriptions to help me decide which page to go to.

I have mixed feeling regarding the thumbnail preview. It is like judging a book by it's cover, i am happy to have the few lines next to the link in the search return so I can see inside the cover.

In search land, i am enjoying the compare google tool http://comparegoogle.com/
